Space saving, a flat packing solution
Addressing the basic problems, we developed boxes that could be flat packed to save on shipping costs and warehousing. The need of an additional bag was excessive. Thus, we incorporated handles into the shoe box in an elegant manner to economise and reduce material.
We took a look at the company’s values and started tracing the roots of craftsmanship, to a time where shoe making was part of an artisan’s pride and still is. So, we broke out of the shoebox archetype. In developing the concepts, we adapted semantics from the sartorial gentleman - sharp, eloquent and with good taste. We then created three different proposals.
One was a compartmentalised box that contained essential shoe care items. This added value feature would be a small touch to delight the consumer.
